Donna Schmidt earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and her Masters degree from Smith College School for Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an avid entrepreneur. Donna has brought innovation to Hawaii’s health care continuum since 1998. She founded Case Management, Inc. a medical case management agency providing services to address the high cost of nursing home care and the shortage of nursing home beds. The community care foster family program diverted elders from nursing homes and provided an intergenerational experience in family homes throughout Hawaii.
In 2011, Donna created an accessible, affordable, and convenient Urgent Care clinic in Pearl City and is excited to bring US Med’s vision of value-based health care to communities throughout Hawaii and the nation.
Donna is an avid sports fan with football and basketball on the top of the list. She enjoys travel, books on tape and King Charles Cavaliers. Sharing her experience as an entrepreneur and social worker, she appreciates opportunities to mentor young women. Donna lives on Oahu with her husband and two children; and absolutely loves being with family.
